Bla.st is a website lauched late last year which is about promoting businesses through a "business card" type directory. It can be used to promote all manner of websites, blogs, products, portfolios, clubs, competitions, product launches, sales & specials, events etc etc.

The site is free to use, or you can pay a small amount to get your site bumped up to the top of the list under specific categories. The rates aren't expensive, the current highest bidder is paying just $1.40 a day for all countries. If you want a specific category such as blog the current highest bidder is 12cents a day.

I'll let you know in a few weeks whether I have had any click throughs. I'm being a cheap skate though and not paying anything for it.
