There are a lot of widgets out there that allow you to add polls onto your website, Vizu is the first one that allows you to monetize your polls (if there are other's let me know).

The way it works is simple, you place some code on your website to allow Vizu to push polls onto your site. You provide a bit of information about your website and set a CPM price that you will accept as the price for having someone place a poll on your site. Vizu take a nice healthy 50% cut for their effort, quite steep but we'll see how it goes.

Researchers can then search through a range of websites and blogs which fit their target audience and then place their poll on your website.

I have just registered and inserted the code onto SansWeb, you can see the space over on the right hand side - at the moment it just says "Your research here" I'm hoping a poll will pop up there shortly. Apparently when no one has placed a poll on your site general market research polls about the website appear, no revenue is earned but you learn more about your visitors.
