The web has infiltrated our lives, a lot of us make a living out of it. At the very least, the vast majority of us are using the web every single day (some to the point of addiction).

There are great time saving websites such as internet banking, share trading, and um - what else? Email? I guess - but we get so much spam these days that it seems it might be easier to get a letter in the mail. Of course the internet is not just about time saving, it's also about entertainment, education, research and community, with websites such as YouTube, Wikipedia, MySpace, LinkedIn etc taking over from television, pen pals, libraries, clubs, and networking functions. And all these are great - as long as you don't get sucked into them.

So welcome to sans web - this blog is all about discussing new websites and providing reviews and commentary along the way. There might also be the odd post about things totally unrelated!
